Nashville rush hour traffic – SWEET!

Spent the night @ some little podunk town 20 West of Nashville. Was going 2 go thru Alabama and Mississippi but decided I wanted highways.

Veering off course – taking Arkansas Rt 7 South towards Hot Springs nat’l Park supposed to be pretty drive.

When in Rome – listen to country on local stations. It’s definitely not the crap out in Phx.  Lots of depth.

Arkansas state line. Really beautiful – highway are filled w/maroon, orange and purple flowers against a green carpet.

Now I *know* I’m in the South – saw my first dead armidillo & dead racoon along the highway.

It feels like the South – something I can’t put my finger on. Definitely warm and humid – green and lush. Blood red soil near Okla City.

Leaving Tulsa.. Spent the nite @ Shellie’s. She even bought me breakfast before heading into work. She lives right off "historic" Rt 66
