Info to soothe your fears about Mexico

I've eaten out everytime I've ever gone and have never gotten sick. You can bring food to cook or eat out ($4-5 per meal). I'm especially fond of homemade breakfast burritos and tamales sold by women walking up and down the beach - delicious!
Mexico, with their current economy, is desperate for the American dollar. They want you to come back and spend money, so expect politeness, service and courtesy if you are polite and courteous.
Everything you need can be purchased in Rocky Point
There's no need to exchange dollars for pesos. Everyone accepts dollars. I've heard that you get a better deal with pesos, but I've never tried, so I can't say.
It's perfectly safe to drive your car into Mexico. Of course, you won't want to be without insurance, as your U.S. insurance won't cover anything that happens in Mexico. I've never had any trouble with my veichles in Rocky Point. It's so Americanized.
